A Knowledge,Attitude and Practice Survey on Health Care among Female College Students

Abstract

|
It is well known that students are greatly influenced by their teacher. The correct knowledge, attitude and behavior of teacher are very important. Basic assumption is that education of public health course at college is improving knowledge, attitude and behavior of the students on health.
The study therefore was an attempt to prove this assumption by studing Knowledge, Attitude and Practice on smoking, drinking and health are.
A total number of 324 students of teachers´ college in Seoul are interviewed.
The results showed that the students who took public health course revealed higher knowledge level, positive attitude on health and desirable health behavior than that of those who did not take public health course.
